ICG Link News04.17.13 Spam PreventionOver the past several weeks, several of our email users have had their mailboxes compromised by spammers who have taken over their accounts to send high volumes of spam. This has resulted in our being blacklisted for short periods of time on various lists, which causes many problems for our users. ACTION PLAN: 1) You can check your password. If you don't have a secure password, change it immediately. 2) In order to limit the damage done by these hackers, we are limiting the number of recipients you can send mail to at one time to 25. If you have a need to send to more than that, please use our eBlast111 service or contact Customer Service for more information. |
