ICG Link News07.08.05 Minerals.com DiscontinuedAfter 10 years, we have discontinued use of minerals.com as an alias of ceramics.com due to lack of interest in the industry. Initially, subfolders or subdomains of minerals.com were used by some companies to minimize their hosting cost, however, as the cost of hosting an individual domain has come down, there is no longer a need to maintain this convenience. For the time being, we have continued use of ceramics.com as an exposition site for those ceramic manufacturers still producing in the US. However, that industry has been disappearing over the years and it may not be long before it is non-productive to maintain this domain as well. |
