ICG Link News10.15.99 Feeling our Way AheadTelalink merged with PSInet.com this month. We realize we better bite the bullet on our own hosting solution or we may be left out in the cold. Some of the customer service staff at Telalink hangs in there with PSI until February 6 2001, but things aren't the same. As a result, our first systems guy, Ziggy joins the team. Now we can get our own servers cranked up. We discuss infrastructure alternatives with all the really smart guys we know and make some decisions. Ziggy pulls it off and we begin hosting our first sites by February. 1999 also saw another stab at adding a full time sales person. Elizabeth H. joined us for the better part of a year, but eventually we realized that our best sales came from word of mouth. That turned out to sustain us throughout the years ahead. |
